Job summary

Lifting-Gear-Hire-Corp (LGH) in New Braunfels, TX, seeks a mechanically inclined individual to maintain rental equipment and ensure immediate availability for safe use. You will apply mechanical knowledge to inspect, repair and test various hoisting and rigging gear.

Minimum HS diploma required; a mechanical background and tool experience are preferred. Valid driver's license, DOT certification, and ability to pass background and drug tests are required. Competitive pay and full benefits offered.

Qualifications

• Mechanical aptitude preferred.
• Experience with hand and power tools desired.
• Experience with air hoists, comealongs, manual or electric hoists beneficial but not required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare rental equipment orders and inspect for quality compliance.
• Disassemble, troubleshoot, repair, reassemble and test electrical, hand operated, hydraulic and pneumatic equipment.
• Perform routine preventative maintenance on rental equipment.
• Operate forklift to load/unload and move equipment within the warehouse.
• Drive company vehicles to transport rental orders safely and on time.
