Job summary

4Wall is seeking a Rigging Department Lead to oversee the rigging team and ensure high standards across the shop. You will support department technicians, execute pick lists, and maintain equipment certifications while coordinating with other departments as needed.

The role requires experience in theatrical rigging, strong troubleshooting skills, and the ability to lift 75–100 lbs, with a full-time schedule and opportunities to grow with the company.

Responsibilities

• Provide support to the Rigging Department Technicians.

• Maintain up-to-date certifications on motors, controls and distribution systems.
• Learn and work in other departments as necessary.

We are looking for a Rigging Department Lead to come join the 4Wall team!

What you will be doing:

While every day is different at 4Wall, you will be responsible for providing support to the Rigging Department Technicians; executing all pick lists; maintaining a high level of quality control; checking-in and -out orders; cleaning, organizing, testing and troubleshooting, and keeping updated certifications on all motors, controls, rigging and power distribution systems and equipment; general repair and maintenance of the equipment; and learning and working in other departments within the Shop as necessary.

What you bring to the table:

Our ideal candidate will have previous rigging experience in theatrical rigging and electric motors, must have good computer skills and take a proactive approach to troubleshooting and repair, experience in the entertainment lighting and video industry is strongly preferred, must be able to lift 75-100 lbs. as duties include loading and unloading trucks.
