Job summary

ProductionsUnlimited,Inc. seeks a hands-on Rigging Lead to steer a team responsible for design, installation, and servicing of rigging systems including motorized hoists, truss, and fly systems.

You will coordinate with project managers, electricians, and general contractors to deliver on-time, safe installations. The role requires five years in a similar position, ETCP Rigger-Theatre certification, and AutoCAD experience.

Qualifications

• Five years in a similar role preferred.
• ETCP Rigger-Theatre certification required.
• AutoCAD experience required.
• Experience with theatrical rigging equipment is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise the Rigging Team across design, installation, and service of rigging systems.
• Coordinate with project managers and on-site trades to ensure timely, safe installations.
• Plan and schedule team members for design, installation, quotations, and service calls.
• Train team members on rigging practices and safety procedures.
• Maintain clean, safe work environments and support multi-department projects.

PrimaryDuties:

• LeadandsupervisetheRiggingTeaminthedesign,installation,andservicingofRiggingSystems(motorizedhoists,chainmotors,truss,flysystems,andstructuralrigging);salesofprojects;andcreationofsubmittalsandpostprojectdocumentation.
• WorktomaketheRiggingDepartmenta\"welloiled\"machineregardingtimeliness,accuracy,safety,andhigh-qualityinstallations.
• ConductweeklydepartmentmeetingswiththeRiggingTeam.
• WorkwithprojectmanagerstocoordinaterigginginstallationsonjobsiteswithGeneralContractors,Electricians,StructuralSteel,Owners,andothertrades.
• Actasaprojectmanagerasrequired.
• Planandscheduleteammembersfordepartmentfunctions(designs,installations,quotations,servicecalls,etc.).
• Makesurethatclientsarerespondedtoinameaningfulandtimelymanner.
• Workwithpurchasingandlogisticstoensurethatyourteamhasthematerialstheyneedwhentheyneedthem.
• Makerecommendationsforteammembertraining.
• Trainteammembersonrelevanttasks,includingsaferiggingpractices,loadcalculations,andinspectionprocedures.
• Assistininterviewingandhiringnewteammembers.
• Helpmaintainacleanworkingenvironmentintheofficeandonjobsites.
• Workwithotherdepartmentstoschedulemulti-departmentprojects.
• Adviseleadershipwhenmoreteammembersarerequiredaswellaswhenteammembersneedtobereassignedorterminated.

Requirements:

AdditionalInformation:

• Full-time,exemptpositionwithsalarydependingonexperience,education,andtraining.Range$85,000-$110,000.00
