Job summary

TNT Crane & Rigging, Inc. is seeking experienced full-time Rigger Drivers in Midland, TX. You will assist crane operators, perform rigging, and ensure safe lifting of loads while complying with state and federal laws.

The role includes daily vehicle and equipment inspections, maintenance, and documentation. Overtime opportunities are available as needed. Responsibilities span setting up equipment, securing loads, reporting defects, and maintaining inventory.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent is required.
• 1-3 years of Heavy haul experience.
• 1-3 years of rigging and commercial driving experience.
• Must have a current state issued CDL Class A Driver’s License.

Responsibilities

• Assist crane operator with proper equipment set-up.
• Assist in maintenance of crane and accessories (trucks, trailers).
• Perform rigging techniques to ensure safe lifting of the load.
• Use proper hand signals during crane operations.
• Secure equipment to trailer before operating the vehicle.
• Inspect truck and trailer; file inspection reports before operation.
• Report mechanical defects in writing to supervisor or shop.
• Monitor inventory of chains, boomer, and straps; report missing items.
• Document maintenance and repairs on equipment to supervisor.
• Clean exterior of vehicle daily and maintain yard/shop areas.
• Complete payroll timesheet; hours reported by 10:00 a.m. Monday.
• Stay productive when not on a job by cleaning and inspecting.
