Job summary

The Department of the Navy seeks a Rigger Supervisor I to oversee operations at Portsmouth Naval Shipyard, Puget Sound Naval Shipyard, Norfolk Naval Shipyard, Trident Refit Bangor and Pearl Harbor Naval Shipyard and Intermediate Maintenance Facility.

You will assign, direct, and review subordinates, plan and coordinate work, and ensure quality and compliance with work orders across multiple sites. This role may require travel and compliance with federal requirements.

Qualifications

• Must be a US citizen.
• Must be determined suitable for federal employment.
• Participation in the direct deposit pay program.
• Pre-employment drug testing may be required.
• May be required to travel to CONUS/OCONUS sites.

Responsibilities

• Assign, direct, and review the work of subordinates.
• Plan, schedule, and coordinate work operations.
• Inspect completed work for quality and work order requirements.
