Job summary

Express Employment Professionals - Cincinnati East is seeking a dependable Rigger/Material Handler to support movement, loading, unloading, staging, and installation of equipment at construction, industrial, and commercial sites. A CDL is not required.This full-time role requires teamwork, rigging experience, and safe handling practices; you will operate forklifts and lifting devices, follow lift plans, comply with OSHA rules, and assist with inventory and site logistics.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required or preferred.
• Experience in rigging, construction, warehousing or material handling.
• Knowledge of rigging and safe lifting practices.
• Able to read instructions and load plans; good math skills.
• Strong teamwork and communication.
• Valid driver's license; travel to job sites as required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with rigging, lifting and moving heavy machinery and materials.
• Load, unload, sort, stage and distribute materials.
• Inspect rigging equipment such as slings, chains, hooks, and shackles.
• Attach loads to cranes, hoists, forklifts and other equipment.
• Follow lift plans and signal crane operators.
• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks (training preferred).
• Keep work areas clean, organized and safe.
• Assist with inventory control and job site logistics.
• Follow OSHA regulations and safety procedures.
• Perform general labor to support operations.
