Job summary

Qualifications

• Safety and general job training as required by SIC.
• Observe SIC and Customer safety and quality processes and procedures at all times.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Select cables, ropes, pulleys, winches, blocks, and sheaves according to weight and size of load to be moved.
• Attach pulley and blocks to fixed overhead structures, such as beams, ceilings, and gin pole booms with bolts and clamps.
• Coordinate hoisting and load movement with the Crane Operator using hand signals, loudspeaker, or telephone to ensure safety of workers and material.
