Barnhart Crane & Rigging in Memphis, TN is seeking a hands-on Rigger to perform rigging, signaling and load control for heavy lifts on major projects across the country. You will assist with crane assembly, gantry systems and hydraulic equipment while supporting wind and heavy haul operations.

This full-time role requires outdoor work, physical effort, and travel as needed. A strong safety mindset, CDL Class A or TWIC, and rigging certification are preferred.

Qualifications

Mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
Willingness to work in a hands-on outdoor environment.
Ability to lift 50 lbs and perform physical work.
Flexibility to work varying schedules, travel, and overtime.
Preferred: CDL Class A or ability to obtain.
Rigger certification or TWIC card.

Responsibilities

Perform rigging, signaling, and load control for heavy lifts.
Assist with crane assembly, gantry systems, and hydraulic equipment.
Support wind projects and heavy haul operations.
Inspect, maintain, and prepare rigging gear for safe use.
Help with equipment transport, including trucks and trailers.
Work both in the field and on dynamic project sites.
