Job summary

Qualifications

• Ability to push/pull 30 lbs and lift 50 lbs.
• Capable of remaining on feet for 8 to 12 hour shifts.
• Can work outdoors in various weather conditions.

Salary Range: $16.00 - $17.50 Hourly

Summary

Set up or repair rigging for construction projects in a safe manner.

Primary Responsibilities

• Align, level, and anchor machinery
• Attach loads to rigging to provide support or prepare them for moving, using hand and power tools.
• Attach pulleys and blocks to fixed overhead structures such as beams, ceilings, and gin pole booms, using bolts and clamps.
• Control movement of heavy equipment through narrow openings or confined spaces, using chainfalls, gin poles, gallows frames, and other equipment.
• Dismantle and store rigging equipment after use.
• Inspecting equipment, structures, or materials to identify the cause of errors or other problems or defects.
• Climb ladders to measure and/or inspect the product.
• Work with Crane Operator through great communication to ensure safe movement and passage.

Qualifications

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• The ability to climb, lift, balance, bend, stretch, twist, or reach with your body, arms, and/or legs
• Push and Pull 30 lbs.
• Lift 50 lbs.
• Be on Feet 8 to 12 hours shifts
• The ability to keep or regain your body balance or stay upright when in an unstable position.
• Work outside all day/night (6am-6pm)
