Job summary

NAPCO Precast LLC in San Antonio, TX is seeking an maintenance assistant to ensure reliable operation of production machinery and related equipment. You will perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot malfunctions, and help keep production lines running smoothly.

Responsibilities include observing equipment, using manuals and tools, and maintaining a safe, clean work environment while adhering to company procedures and safety rules.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift and maneuver up to 50 lbs.
• Able to work outside in heat or cold.

Responsibilities

Maintains production and quality by ensuring operation of machinery and mechanical equipment.

Primary responsibilities

• Assist Maintenance team with operation of machinery and mechanical equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements on engines, motors, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, and production machines; following diagrams, sketches, operations manuals, manufacturer's instructions, and engineering specifications; troubleshooting malfunctions.
• Locates sources of problems by observing mechanical devices in operation; listening for problems; using precision measuring and testing instruments.
• Adjusts functional parts of devices and control instruments by using hand tools, levels, plumb bobs, and straightedges.
• Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

Qualifications

• The ability to lift, bend, climb, stretch, twist, or reach with your body, arms, and/or legs
• Work outside all day in heat or cold
• Exposure to fumes, vibrations, and noise levels
• Must be able to lift 50 Lbs.
• Will work on equipment that is 2 stories high. Cant be afraid of heights.
