Job summary

ProLift Rigging is seeking skilled riggers in Corpus Christi, Texas to align, level, and anchor cranes and equipment, and to assemble and install rigging, hoist, and pulling gear. The role involves connecting pulleys to fixed structures, testing rigging, and guiding loads to ensure safety and efficiency in challenging environments.

Candidates must be able to lift 75 lbs, be flexible with schedules and travel, and pass drug tests, background checks, and fit for duty assessments.

Qualifications

• Must have excellent mechanical reasoning.
• Good perception of math applications, weights, measurement, and balance.

Responsibilities

• Aligns, levels, and anchors cranes and equipment.
• Assembles and installs supporting structures, rigging, hoist, and pulling gear.
• Connects pulley and blocks to fixed overhead structures with bolts, shackles, and clamps.
• Cleans and dresses machine and surfaces of parts.
• Controls movements of heavy equipment through narrow openings or confined spaces.
• Dismantles, maintains, and stores rigging equipment.
• Manipulates rigging lines, hoists to move or support materials, steel, and concrete.
• Selects gears, cables, and shackles according to load size, facilities, and work schedule.
• Signals or directs workers engaged in hoisting and moving loads to ensure safety.
• Tests rigging to ensure safety and reliability before engaging in hoisting and lifting.
