Job summary

Bay Ltd. seeks an experienced welder to join our team in Houston. The successful candidate will weld, repair, or join metal pipe or structural components using gas or diesel rigs, and perform brazing or soldering as needed.

Daily tasks include laying out parts, aligning assemblies, and verifying conformance to specifications. Responsibilities include reading blueprints, applying welding processes (SMAW, FCAW, GTAW, GMAW, SAW), and operating safety gear.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 3 years of welding experience.
• Must pass a weld test (stick, TIG, sub-arc, flux core, or MIG).
• Must be able to read and interpret blueprints and drawings.

Responsibilities

• Own gas or diesel welding rig including PPE.
• Weld components in flat, vertical, or overhead positions.
• Weld pipes, tubes, fittings, and related equipment per specs.
• Operate tools including grinders, beveling machines, torches, magnetic drills, saws.
