Job summary

Loenbro is seeking an experienced Rig Welder in Moses Lake, WA. This role will plan, lay out, weld, install, test, and repair various pipe and tubular products per applicable plans, specs, and codes. The ideal candidate will have a welding background and a track record of meeting customer expectations on schedule and budget.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years welding experience required.
• Two-year vocational-technical degree preferred.
• Completion of a welding qualification is required.
• Orbital welding training will be provided; orbital experience is a plus.
• Must meet all state license requirements.
• Familiar with local, state, and federal building code regulations regarding piping systems.
• Proficient in SMAW, FCAW, and GMAW; Oxy-Fuel included.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on industrial piping and related structures.
• Supervise and train welder helpers.
• Interpret contract plans and specifications; plan, layout, install, and repair piping per those plans.
• Inspect field conditions; identify problems and cost-saving opportunities; take corrective actions.
• Select appropriate filler metals and construction materials for assignments.
