Job summary

Nabors is seeking a RigCloud Technician I for West Texas, focusing on field service, installation, calibration, and support of drilling and service rig hardware and software. The role combines technical field work with basic IT capabilities and extensive travel.

You will install, calibrate, test, and upgrade equipment, train customers on safe use, and collaborate with account teams to resolve issues and identify improvements. Rotation and long shifts are common.

Qualifications

• Electrical/mechanical/electronic background is highly desirable.
• Understand calibration, measurement devices, and signal processing.
• Proficient with multimeters, calibrators, HART communicators, and diagnostics.
• Familiar with Modbus, CANbus, Ethernet/IP protocols.
• Strong interpersonal and written communication skills.
• Strong problem-solving and initiative.
• Ability to work independently in remote field environments.
• Willing to work long/irregular hours and on call.
• Sales-minded with ability to identify opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Install, commission, test, and calibrate company products at customer sites.
• Provide on-site training to customers on safe use of equipment and software.
• Perform field upgrades and maintenance of hardware and software components.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Manage inventory, assets, and service documentation.
• Monitor rig movement and assist with customer targeting strategies.
• Record performance, service activities, and feedback in databases.
• Recommend product or service enhancements from customer needs.
• Provide technical and sales support with account teams.
• Coordinate with Field Leads and other technicians for alignment.
• Adhere to safety standards and procedures at all times.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
