Job summary

Lyft is seeking a Finance Analyst to support our Rideshare business, shaping strategy, forecasting performance, and guiding key decisions impacting riders and drivers. The role requires strong analytical abilities, attention to detail, and the ability to translate data into actionable insights for senior leadership.

You will build and refine financial models, lead the Actuals vs. Forecast process, and collaborate with Operations and Product to connect financial outcomes to business levers.

Qualifications

• This role requires a Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field with 2–3 years of FP&A experience.
• Ability to develop complex financial models and forecast performance.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and reconciliations.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain financial models to assess performance and opportunities.
• Lead weekly Actuals vs. Forecast process and update Rest of Quarter projections.
• Collaborate with Operations and Product to connect financial outcomes to business levers.
• Improve forecasting accuracy and reporting through automation and scalable tools.
• Deliver insights via dashboards, reports, and executive presentations.
• Support month-end and quarter-end close processes with Accounting and Data teams.
