Job summary

Six Flags Entertainment Corporation is seeking a Field Painter to help maintain the Park appearance and improvements. The successful candidate will paint and maintain all rides and structures, fill holes, and apply multiple coat finishes while adhering to safety standards.

This position requires the ability to work at heights over 100 feet, have a HS diploma, and a valid California driver’s license, with physical stamina for varied conditions across the park.

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of painting operation.
• HS diploma or equivalent.
• Valid CA Driver’s License.
• Ability to physically handle working in a variety of conditions.
• Ability to work at heights over 100 feet.

Responsibilities

• Painting and maintain all rides and structures throughout the property
• Filling nail holes, cracks, and joints with putty or plaster
• Applying prime and finish coats of paint (water base, oil base, epoxies, urethanes and stains)
• Graffiti removal as needed
• Help with set-up of safety equipment, such as scaffolding, ladders, swing states and safety belts, in order to perform tasks above ground level
