Qualifications

  • A minimum of three years industrial maintenance experience required.
  • Advanced knowledge of pneumatics, hydraulics, electrical, and conveyor systems.
  • Ability to lift, carry, push and pull up to 50 lbs.

Compensation Rate:$24.00/hr

Are you someone who never wants the fun to stop? Thanks to you, it doesn’t have to! You can keep things rolling – and swinging and climbing and plunging – as a Ride Technician at one of SeaWorld Parks and Entertainment’s theme parks.

What you get to do:
As a Ride Technician, you’ll provide a high level of technical, electrical, and mechanical expertise in order to ensure our guests enjoy a thrilling, breathtaking – and safe experience. You will:
• Inspect, diagnose and repair all park rides, including watercraft, slides, nets, and moving walks
• Uphold all department safety standards, including test riding and inspections
• Complete all required documentation
• Communicate any ride related questions/concerns to leadership
• Maintain proficiency in all manufacturing manuals for each ride
• Perform daily cleaning and maintenance duties, including care of tools
• Provide exceptional service to guests and team members

What it takes to succeed:
• High school diploma, trade school or equivalent required
• A minimum of three years verifiable industrial maintenance experience, automotive or military
• Advanced knowledge of pneumatics, hydraulics, electrical and conveyor systems
• Possesses a valid driver’s license and can adhere to company driving guidelines
• Good written communication skills required to complete maintenance documentation
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings
• Ability to communicate effectively with co-workers, supervisors and managers
• Proven team player
• Possess professional quality tool set
• Lift, carry, push and pull up to 50lbs. on a frequent basis.
• Position engages in extensive walking and standing throughout work shift
• Able to work on high steel or wood structures
• Able to wear a full body harness
• Able to be respirator trained
• Work both indoors and outdoors, exposed to a variety of weather conditions
• Perform the following physical activities on a frequent basis; stand, walk, climb, bend floor-to waist/waist-to-overhead and reach overhead, simple grasp and fine manipulation tasks
• Perform all cleaning duties, including use of cleaning chemicals
• Promote and ensure a safe and secure environment for guests and fellow ambassadors
• Work a flexible schedule/hours based on business need, to include opening, mid-, and closing shifts; nights, weekends, and holidays
