Job summary

Traders Village Houston is seeking a Ride Operator for weekends to provide guests—especially children—with a safe and enjoyable amusement ride experience. You will maintain a neat ride area, follow safety policies, and load riders with care, while staying vigilant for safety regulations and guest safety.

The role requires a two-week ride-training program, the ability to lift 35 lbs, stand for long periods, and excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 17 years old.
• No prior experience necessary; training provided.
• Must complete a two-week ride-training program and pass the written test.
• Must be available to work every weekend.
• Ability to lift and push a minimum of 35 lbs.
• Must be patient with children.
• Good verbal and interpersonal communication skills; bilingual a plus.
• Ability to understand and follow directions.
• Strong customer service skills and attention to detail.
• Must be able to stand for long hours, walk long distances, bend, stoop, and work in both heat and cold.
