As a Ride Operator at Six Flags New England, you will:

  • Ensure guest safety and enjoyment on rides
  • Assist guests and calm nerves as they board rides
  • Control ride mechanisms to operate attractions
  • Maintain safety protocols and ride operation standards
  • Secure seat belts, lap bars, and ensure guest restrictions are met
  • Help guests in and out of ride vehicles efficiently and safely
  • Keep ride areas clean and inviting
  • Respond to ride emergencies and keep guests calm
  • Enforce park policies and assist in other Rides Department duties

You’ll need:

  • The ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • To pass ride certification tests
  • Strong attention to safety and detail
  • A friendly, outgoing personality
  • A positive attitude and ability to stay calm under stress

You should also:

  • Be 18 or older
  • Willing to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Be able to communicate effectively in English
  • Meet physical demands such as standing, lifting, and working at heights
