Job Summary

Maintain excellent customer service in a welcoming atmosphere to ensure guest satisfaction and encourage repeat visits. Server assistants are expected to be detail-oriented, work efficiently, and assist in minimizing waste and spillage.

Responsibilities

1. Provide guests with water, coffee/tea, and bread service during meals.
2. Clear used dishes and glassware; scrape and stack dishes.
3. Keep all common areas and service stations clean and safe; clean up spills and broken dishes; manage recycling and trash.
4. Reset tables in the assigned section after guests depart; assist servers as needed; respond promptly to guest requests and communicate with servers.
5. Perform assigned side work at the start and end of shifts.
6. Monitor guest dining experiences to ensure satisfaction; respond courteously to requests.
7. Assist fellow staff members as situations require.
8. Thank guests and invite them to return.

Qualifications

Education

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Experience

Previous experience in full-service restaurants is preferred but not required.

Requirements

• Ability to communicate effectively in English, both spoken and written.
• Ability to stand for long periods, reach, bend, and lift up to 40 pounds.
• Punctuality, reliable attendance, and transportation.
• Honesty, integrity, good hygiene, and professionalism.
