Position Summary

Wash and clean tableware, pots, pans, and cooking equipment. Keep the dishroom and equipment clean and organized. Maintain cleanliness in the trash area and outside of the restaurant.

Responsibilities

1. Load, operate, and unload the dish machine.
2. Keep the dish machine clean and report any issues immediately to the Executive Chef.
3. Ensure sufficient supply of clean tableware for dining and kitchen areas.
4. Bag and haul trash to the dumpster at scheduled times.
5. Handle tableware carefully to prevent breakage and loss.
6. Maintain adequate levels of dish detergent and cleaning supplies.
7. Clean food preparation and production areas as required.
8. Assist with food prep by measuring, assembling ingredients, and following recipes according to company standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred but not required.
• No previous restaurant experience necessary.
• Ability to communicate clearly with managers and staff.
• Capable of reaching, bending, stooping, and lifting up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to stand for long periods (up to 9 hours).
• Comfortable working in hot, wet, humid, and noisy environments.
• Maintain personal hygiene following DHEC and company standards.
• Punctuality and reliable attendance.
