Position Summary

Wash and clean tableware, pots, pans, and cooking equipment. Keep the dishroom and equipment clean and organized. Maintain cleanliness in the trash area and outside of the restaurant.

Responsibilities

1. Load, operate, and unload the dish machine.
2. Keep the dish machine clean and report any issues immediately to the Executive Chef.
3. Maintain sufficient levels of clean tableware for the dining room and kitchen.
4. Bag and haul trash to the dumpster at designated times.
5. Handle tableware carefully to prevent breakage and loss.
6. Ensure adequate supplies of dish detergent and cleaning materials.
7. Clean food preparation and production areas as needed.
8. Assist in food prep by measuring, assembling ingredients, and preparing recipes according to company standards.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent preferred but not required. No prior restaurant experience necessary. Must communicate clearly with managers and staff. Ability to reach, bend, stoop, and lift up to 50 pounds regularly. Able to stand for long periods (up to 9 hours). Capable of working in hot, wet, humid, and loud environments. Maintain personal hygiene per DHEC and company standards. Punctuality, reliable attendance, honesty, integrity, and dependable transportation are required.
