Job description

Endocrinologist - diagnose and treat injuries or illnesses related to disorders of the endocrine system, including but not limited to diabetes, thyroid diseases, menopause, pituitary disease, etc. Responsibilities include examining patients, taking medical histories, prescribing medications, and ordering, performing, and interpreting diagnostic tests. Counsel patients on diet, hygiene, and preventive healthcare.

General job duties include:

1. Document and update charts and patient information to reflect findings and treatments.
2. Order tests and consultations for other physicians or healthcare staff to perform.
3. Review test results to identify abnormal findings.
4. Recommend, design, and implement long-term treatment plans.
5. Address patient concerns and answer questions about their health and well-being.
6. Help patients manage their health through discussions on proper nutrition and hygiene.

Required Education, Experience, and Certifications:

• Working knowledge of e-prescriptions.
• Active California Medical License (M.D. or D.O.).
• Board Eligible or Certified.
• Current BLS Certification.
• CPR Card (Adult, Child, and Infant).
• Medi-Cal & Medicare Provider status.

Salary range: $250,000 - $350,000 USD
