Murfreesboro Medical Clinic in Murfreesboro, TN, is seeking a Clinical Assistant to provide clinical and administrative support. You will assist with patient intake, charting, and coordinating care with providers to ensure safe, efficient, patient-centered service.

The role requires CPR certification and completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program; healthcare experience is preferred. You will work with a collaborative team in a busy outpatient setting.

• Greet and assist patients in a courteous, professional, and compassionate manner.
• Room patients and obtain/document vital signs, medical histories, and other relevant information in the EMR.
• Prepare exam and procedure rooms and ensure supplies and equipment are available and maintained.
• Assist providers during examinations, treatments, and office-based procedures.
• Enter physician-ordered laboratory, diagnostic imaging, and other clinical orders into the EMR.
• Communicate provider instructions, patient education materials, test results, and follow-up information as directed.
• Triage patient calls and messages, elevate urgent concerns appropriately, and support prescription refill workflows according to established protocols.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation while ensuring patient confidentiality and HIPAA compliance.
• Clean, disinfect, and sterilize equipment and clinical areas in accordance with OSHA guidelines and infection control standards.
• Support front office functions, including scheduling and patient check-in/check-out, as needed.
• Collaborate effectively with providers, patients, and team members to promote quality patient care and a positive patient experience.
• Perform other duties as assigned to support the overall success of the department and organization.
