• Graduate of an accredited physician assistant program.
• Current NCCPA Board Certification/License as Physician Assistant.
• Approved to practice as a physician assistant in Montana or Wyoming by Board of Medical Examiners.
• Graduate of an accredited nurse practitioner program.
• Current Board Certification as a Nurse Practitioner.
• Approved to practice as a Nurse Practitioner with a current Montana and/or Wyoming Board of Nursing License as an advance practice nurse.

Aufgaben

• Examine patients and perform comprehensive physical examination, compile patient medical data.
• Administer or order diagnostic tests and interpret results.
• Perform therapeutic procedures such as injections, immunizations, suturing and wound care.
• Develop and monitor patient care plans and document progress.
• Educate patients and families regarding prescribed regimens.
• Refer patients to other health care providers as needed.
• Participate in on-call rotations and after-hours coverage.
• Maintain competency with safety standards and ongoing professional development.

Ausbildung

Graduate of an accredited physician assistant program

Current NCCPA Board Certification/License as Physician Assistant

Approved to practice as a physician assistant in Montana or Wyoming by Board of Medical Examiners

Current Board Certification as a Nurse Practitioner
