Job summary

Skin-and-Cancer-Institute in Mesa/Phoenix, AZ is seeking a Physician Assistant-Certified (PA-C) to join our Rheumatology team. You will work alongside an experienced rheumatologist to diagnose, treat, and manage patients with autoimmune diseases, inflammatory arthritis, and connective tissue disorders.

Requirements include a Master’s degree from an accredited PA program, NCCPA certification, active state PA license, CPR/BLS, and a DEA license; 1+ year rheumatology experience; strong

Qualifications

• Master’s degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program.
• Certification as a Physician Assistant (PA-C) by the NCCPA.
• Active state licensure as a Physician Assistant.
• CPR/BLS certification.
• DEA license.
• 1+ years experience in rheumatology.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations, including history taking, physical exams, and assessment of lab results.
• Diagnose and manage rheumatologic conditions such as rheumatoid arthritis, lupus, gout, and spondyloarthropathies.
• Administer and monitor biologic therapies and DMARDs.
• Perform joint injections, aspirations, and other rheumatology-specific procedures.
• Develop and implement treatment plans and provide patient education.
