Job summary

Skin and Cancer Institute in Deer Valley, Phoenix, AZ is seeking a Physician Assistant-Certified (PA-C) or Nurse Practitioner for a Rheumatology role. You will work alongside an experienced rheumatologist to diagnose, treat, and manage a wide range of rheumatologic conditions.

The position involves administering biologics/DMARDs, performing joint procedures, and developing individualized care plans with the multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program.
• Certification as a Physician Assistant (PA-C) by the NCCPA.
• 1+ years experience in rheumatology.
• Active state licensure as a Physician Assistant.
• CPR/BLS certification.
• DEA license.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations, including history taking and exams.
• Diagnose and manage rheumatologic conditions.
• Administer and monitor biologic therapies and DMARDs.
• Perform joint injections and rheumatology procedures.
• Develop and implement treatment plans and follow-up care.
• Collaborate with rheumatologist and team to coordinate care.
