Job summary

Oklahoma Arthritis Center is seeking a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to provide comprehensive rheumatology care. Responsibilities include patient consultations, tests interpretation, treatment planning, and ongoing management in a fast-paced clinic setting.

Travel between OAC locations is expected. Candidates must hold necessary licensure and a biology-related degree, with 3–5 years of clinical assessment experience, preferably in rheumatology.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in biology or a related field is required.
• Must be professionally licensed and in good standing with licensing bodies.
• 3–5 years of clinical assessment experience, preferably rheumatology.
• Maintain current knowledge of industry best practices, trends, and laws.

Responsibilities

• Order and interpret tests, counsel patients on preventive care, and write prescriptions for rheumatology patients.
• Assess patient health by interviewing, exams, and medical histories.
• Document patient care services by charting in records.
• Provide continuity of care by developing and implementing patient management plans.
• Travel to other OAC locations for coverage.
