Job summary

Qualifications

• Must be professionally licensed to practice rheumatology and in good standing with applicable licensing bodies.
• Board-certified or board-eligible in rheumatology.
• Caring and compassionate when dealing with patients.
• Thorough and up-to-date working knowledge of rheumatology and treatment options.
• Technical skills to operate medical equipment and tools related to rheumatology treatment.
• Maintain knowledge of industry best practices, trends, and applicable laws/regulations.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, treat, and care for patients with rheumatologic and autoimmune disorders.
• Order and interpret tests, counsel patients on preventive care, conduct examinations, and write prescriptions.
• Develop patient management plans and continuity of care.
• Supervise PA/NPs in coordination with administration.
• Travel to other Oklahoma Arthritis Center locations as needed.
