Job summary

Johnson & Johnson Innovative Medicines is recruiting for a Medical Science Liaison specializing in Rheumatology to be based in the North Texas/Oklahoma territory. The MSL will build scientific relationships with key thought leaders and healthcare professionals, delivering balanced, non-promotional information.

The role requires up to 70% travel within a defined territory, strong scientific acumen, and the ability to develop engagement plans aligned with Medical Affairs priorities.

Qualifications

• Doctorate level degree or equivalent required (PharmD/PhD/MD).
• Post graduate experience preferred for doctoral level candidates.
• Must hold a valid US Driver’s License.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a scientific engagement plan for the territory.
• Cultivate professional relationships with community and academic opinion leaders/KOLs.
• Engage in high quality, two-way scientific exchange with healthcare professionals.
• Identify, collect and submit actionable insights to inform medical strategy.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders to support Medical Affairs objectives.
