Qualifications
- Must hold BLS certification by American Heart Association (AHA).
- CMA, RMA, CCMA, or NCMA certification required or equivalent.
- High school diploma or equivalent; MA training program or 1 year of experience with certification may substitute.
Responsibilities
- Performs duties to promote quality patient care and customer service.
- Plans for patient visits, ensuring schedules, test results, and clinic requirements are ready.
- Rooms patients and documents chief complaint, vitals, meds, allergies, smoking history, etc.
