Job summary

Intermountain Health in Murray, UT, is seeking a Medical Assistant to support clinicians and deliver high‑quality patient care in an ambulatory Rheumatology clinic. You will assist with information gathering for visits and communicate with patients by phone and in person.

Qualifications

• One of the following: Medical Assistant program completion OR at least one year MA work experience OR current active RN/LPN license to practice in Utah.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required before start date.
• Basic computer skills (word processing, data entry).
• Professional demeanor with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively to deliver high patient satisfaction.
• Ability to protect PHI and privacy of patients and staff.
• Utah: MA residency program if certified with less than one year MA experience.

• Provide patient care under clinician supervision and assist with information gathering for visits.
