Qualifications

• Previous work experience as a Medical Assistant.
• Certification by an accredited Medical Assistant program.

Responsibilities

• Assist with collecting statistics and preparing patients for visits.
• Assist providers during examinations and basic diagnostic procedures.
• Perform specimen collection and communicate changes in patient condition to staff.
• Handle administrative duties: filing, scheduling, data entry, registration, and prior authorization.
