Healthstar Physicians, P.C. is seeking a Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA) / Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for our Rheumatology practice in Jefferson City, TN. The role covers clinical duties, patient triage, phlebotomy, EKGs, and coordination of procedures in a fast-paced office.

The candidate should hold a High School Diploma with Medical Assistant Training, current CPR, and CCM/ACMA credentials; LPN certification preferred. This is a full-time, on-site opportunity with benefits.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Triage patients and document vitals and chief complaints.
• Manage electronic medical records and prescriptions communications.
• Perform phlebotomy and EKGs.
• Coordinate scheduling of procedures and tests.
• Verify demographics and insurance in patient records.
• Provide patient education regarding procedures.
• Maintain daily logs and assist staff as directed.
