Job summary

HealthStar Physicians, P.C. in Morristown, TN seeks a Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA) and LPN for Harris Clinic. This full-time, on-site role supports patient triage, documentation, and direct clinical tasks in a busy primary care setting.

You will work with EMR systems, perform phlebotomy and EKGs, manage appointment coordination, and ensure accurate medication lists and lab results while upholding HIPAA standards and delivering quality patient service.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Medical Assistant Training/Certification preferred.
• Current CPR Certification and CCMA certification preferred; LPN credentials welcome.

Responsibilities

• Triage patients: record vitals, update medication lists, document chief complaints.
• Process electronic prescriptions and communicate with pharmacies.
• Perform phlebotomy and EKGs as required.
• Maintain EMR documentation and patient records.
• Coordinate scheduling of procedures, tests, and referrals; verify demographics/insurance.
