Job summary

Specialty care APPs in Rheumatology at Atrium Health provide focused outpatient care for complex autoimmune and chronic rheumatologic conditions. You will gain exposure to joint injections and collaborate within a dedicated team including physicians and APPs.

The position features a Monday–Friday schedule, no on-call requirements, and opportunities for professional growth across a nationally recognized health system based in Charlotte with roots in Atrium Health and Advocate Health.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years of APP experience required.
• Graduation from an accredited NP or PA program.
• Licensure in NC and SC is required.

Responsibilities

• Perform initial and periodic medical histories, exams, and daily assessments.
• Develop and implement patient care plans based on findings.
• Perform minor procedures including joint injections.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests and follow up on results.
• Prescribe medications and provide patient education.
• Document encounters in the EMR and communicate with the care team.
