Job summary

Sentara Medical Group invites a Rheumatologist to join our outpatient practice in Hampton, Virginia. The position features a flexible schedule (M-F or 4 longer days with a day off) and light call, with a supportive, physician-led system under Sentara Health.

Clinic sits across from the hospital campus, with EPIC and other modern tools, two infusion centers nearby, and strong patient referral programs. A sign-on/commencement bonus is included to welcome you to Sentara.

Qualifications

• MD, DO required (US board eligible/certified)
• No J-1 or H-1B visa accepted
• Flexible schedule: M-F or 4 longer days with 1 day off
• Light on-call; strong work-life balance
• Onsite EPIC/EHR system training and support

Responsibilities

• Join Rheumatology team of 2 physicians.
• Outpatient practice at Sentara Rheumatology Hampton.
• Provide patient care at hospital and clinic across street from CarePlex Hospital.
• Participate in infusions at CarePlex Infusion Centers.
