Qualifications

• Must be licensed or eligible for licensure to practice medicine in Connecticut.
• Board-eligible or board-certified in Internal Medicine.
• Completed ACGME-approved residency program in Internal Medicine and fellowship in Rheumatology.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive specialty medical care to patients, including diagnosis, treatment and prevention of illness and disease.
• Manage the rheumatology care for adult and geriatric patients, and prescribe appropriate medication.
• Actively participate in medical staff committees, contributing rheumatology expertise, support and assistance.
• Provide leadership and guidance to medical students, residents, subspecialty fellows and mid-level practitioners. Will participate in lectures, teaching rounds and other sessions that promote the education and development of trainees.
• Design, direct and participate in clinical investigations related to rheumatology, ensuring accurate and meaningful results and their interpretation.
