Physician Affiliate Group of New York (PAGNY) is adding a Rheumatology Clinical Educator to the Department of Medicine at NYC Health + Hospitals/Jacobi and North Central Bronx. The role combines inpatient and outpatient care with academic responsibilities, including supervision of fellows, residents, and medical students. The division offers Lupus Clinics, Joint Pain Clinics, Ultrasound Evaluation and Treatment Clinics, and Arthritis Clinics. The Jacobi inpatient service averages 7 consults per day, while North Central Bronx averages 3–5 consults per day. The department currently has about 110 full‑time physicians and 162 residents across 15 divisions. The goals of the division include expanding to four full‑time Rheumatologists.
Annual Base Salary: $247,000* (Board Eligible) or $252,000* (Board Certified) based on a 40‑hour work week. Additional compensation is available for extra call or sessional/per diem hours.
