Job summary

ExcelliSearch, Inc. seeks a Rheumatologist to lead and grow a full-time outpatient practice in Munster, IN. The role focuses on autoimmune and inflammatory diseases with infusion services and procedural injections.

You will perform joint aspirations and ultrasound-guided injections while educating patients on long-term disease management and medication safety.

Qualifications

• Board Certified in Rheumatology or Board Eligible with a plan for certification.
• Unrestricted Indiana Medical License and CSR/DEA registration.
• Experience with EPIC EMR or similar documentation tools.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and manage autoimmune and inflammatory disorders including RA, lupus, OA, vasculitis.
• Oversee high-volume outpatient clinic with chronic disease management.
• Manage in-office infusion services and monitoring of biologic therapies.
• Perform joint aspirations, ultrasound-guided injections, and soft tissue injections.
• Educate patients on disease progression, medications, safety, and lifestyle.

Job Type : Full-time Monday – Friday, 1:3 call rotation
Location: Munster, IN

Responsibilities:

• Provide specialized diagnostic, treatment, and management for a full spectrum of autoimmune and inflammatory disorders, including rheumatoid arthritis, lupus, osteoarthritis, and vasculitis.
• Manage a high-volume outpatient clinic with a focus on chronic disease management and complex multi-system autoimmune cases.
• Oversee and manage in-office infusion services, including the administration and monitoring of biologic therapies.
• Perform clinical procedures such as joint aspirations, ultrasound-guided injections, and soft tissue injections as part of a comprehensive treatment plan
• Provide patient education regarding long-term disease progression, medication safety, and lifestyle modifications.

Requirements:

• Board Certified in Rheumatology, or Board Eligible with a clear plan for certification within a specified timeframe.
• Possession of or eligibility for an unrestricted Indiana Medical License and CSR/DEA registration
• Experience with or aptitude for utilizing EPIC EMR and AI-assisted documentation tools
• Strong interpersonal skills for collaborating with other specialists
