Job summary

MyCHN in Texas is seeking a board-certified or board-eligible rheumatologist to join a compassionate, patient-centered team. You will diagnose and treat autoimmune and musculoskeletal conditions in a community-focused setting.

This role emphasizes evidence-based care, collaboration with primary care and specialists, and opportunities to grow specialty services while improving access to care for underserved communities.

Qualifications

• MD or DO required with Texas license.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Rheumatology.
• Completion of Internal Medicine Residency and Rheumatology Fellowship.
• DEA registration (or eligibility).
• BLS certification.
• Strong clinical, communication, and diagnostic skills.
• Commitment to evidence-based, patient-centered care.
• ACLs certification preferred.
• Experience in an FQHC or community health center preferred.
• Experience serving underserved populations preferred.

Responsibilities

• Diagnosing and treating autoimmune, inflammatory, and rheumatologic disorders.
• Managing chronic conditions such as rheumatoid arthritis, lupus, gout, osteoporosis, and related diseases.
• Developing personalized treatment plans using evidence-based medicine.
• Performing joint injections, aspirations, and other rheumatologic procedures.
• Managing biologic therapies, DMARDs, and immunosuppressive medications.
• Educating patients on disease management, prevention, and wellness strategies.
• Collaborating with primary care providers, specialists, therapists, pharmacists, and care coordinators.
• Supporting quality initiatives and patient-centered medical home standards.
