Job summary

Westside Christian Academy in suburban Cleveland invites applications for a Rhetoric Headmaster to lead 9th-12th grade with a Biblical worldview. Qualifications

• The candidate must be a follower of Jesus Christ and align with our Statement of Faith and lifestyle agreement.
• Bachelor's degree required and Biblical/theological acuity is essential.
• History of service and commitment to a local church is expected.
• Ability to build relationships and multitask without distancing from relationships.
• Strong leadership, organization, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to mentor, encourage, and develop faculty; commitment to knowledge growth.
• A good sense of humor is valuable.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership to strengthen the rhetoric school (grades 9-12) and collaborate with the logic headmaster on the new logic school.
• Work with Head of School and Academic Dean to strengthen the academic program.
• Supervise, mentor, coach, and evaluate rhetoric and logic faculty; observe classrooms and give feedback.
• Lead faculty meetings and assist with professional development.
• Partner with parents of logic and rhetoric students.
• Contribute to the WCA leadership team and assist with hiring.
• Foster a Christ-centered culture.
