Job summary

ITC Federal is seeking a RHEL Systems Engineer with heavy travel to support a Global CSfC solution across multiple locations. The role requires a DoD Secret clearance, IAT Level II certification, and extensive Linux server experience.

You will manage RHEL 8+ environments, integrate DNS/NTP/Satellite services, and collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure secure, compliant operations across CONUS/OCONUS sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or IT-related discipline or equivalent.
• 8+ years in a Systems Engineering or Systems Administration role.
• Active DoD Secret Clearance required.
• Current IAT Level II cybersecurity certification or ability to obtain within 6 months.
• 8+ years’ hands‑on RHEL server experience (v8+), with DNS/NTP/Satellite support.
• Experience patching, hardening per STIG, and secure Linux deployments.
• Willing to travel 75%–100%, including CONUS/OCONUS locations.

Responsibilities

• Administer RHEL 8.x+ servers hosting enterprise services (DNS, NTP, Satellite, etc.).
• Troubleshoot service integrations (SIEM, Syslogging, PKI, Global DNS).
• Document status reports and support operations with testing.
• Collaborate with Software, Test, Network, and Operations teams for testing/compliance.
• Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, or security issues.
• Plan systems updates, maintenance, and disaster recovery operations.
