Job summary

ITC Federal, Inc. is seeking an experienced RHEL Systems Engineer with extensive Linux server experience to support a highly secure, multi-location global CSfC solution. The role requires 75%-100% travel including CONUS and OCONUS sites.

The successful candidate will administer RHEL 8.x+ systems, align with NSA STIG guidelines, and collaborate across a multi-disciplinary team to ensure mission-critical enterprise services are maintained and secure.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent technical experience.
8+ years in a Systems Engineering/Systems Administration role.
Active DoD Secret Clearance (minimum) required and IAT II certs or ability to obtain within 6 months.
8+ years with RHEL Linux server platforms and supporting services (DNS, DHCP, Satellite, NTP).
Experience with NSA STIG-based hardening and enterprise Linux security.

Responsibilities

Administer RHEL 8.x and newer servers hosting enterprise services (DNS, NTP, Satellite, etc.).
Troubleshoot service integrations (SIEM, Syslog, PKI, Global DNS) with upstream customers.
Document systems status and support operations; perform tests.
Collaborate with Software, Test, Network, and Ops teams for testing and compliance.
Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, or security issues.
Plan and perform systems updates, maintenance, and DR operations.
