Job summary

CAI is seeking a skilled Rhapsody Developer to support and optimize Rhapsody solutions within a healthcare environment. You will collaborate with clinical, technical, and product teams to ensure seamless data interoperability between internal and third‑party health systems.

This contract role is hybrid in Trenton, NJ, requiring strong experience with healthcare standards and modern web frameworks. You will translate workflows into integration solutions and contribute to secure, compliant data

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of software development in Rhapsody.
• Minimum 2+ years working with healthcare interoperability standards (FHIR and HL7 v2).
• Strong experience with FastAPI, Flask, or Django.
• Deep understanding of FHIR resources and HL7 v2 messaging.
• Familiarity with FHIR servers (HAPI FHIR, Firely, AWS FHIR APIs).

Responsibilities

• Translate clinical and operational workflows into technical integration solutions.
• Work with EHR systems (Epic, Cerner, Athena, Eclinical) to enable bi-directional data exchange.
• Collaborate with DevOps on deployment and monitoring of integrations.
• Ensure compliance with healthcare data standards and HIPAA.
• Support and optimize existing Rhapsody solutions.
