Job summary

AWT Labels & Packaging in Garner, NC is seeking a production operator for a 5 pm – 5 am shift to operate RFID converting equipment and support quality outputs. You will interface with other operators and management to ensure accurate production travelers and safe, clean work areas.

Applicants should read job orders accurately, perform basic math, and demonstrate dependability, cooperation, and adaptability in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.

Responsibilities

• Operate a RFID Converting machine.
• Fill out Production Traveler.
• Must keep equipment and work area clean to avoid potential hazardous conditions.
• Attention to Detail - Job requires being careful about detail and thorough in completing work tasks.
• Critical Thinking - Using logic and reasoning to identify alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems.
• Visually check each roll for correctness and free of defects.
• Work with other press operators and/or management, when necessary, to achieve desired results.
