Job summary

LMI Consulting, LLC in Jacksonville, FL is seeking a Facilities Support - Warehouse Specialist to assist in Navy installation warehouse operations. You will scan barcodes, manage inventory data, and encode RFID tags to ensure accurate package tracking.

You will work in a non-climate-controlled warehouse, performing repetitive tasks with high attention to detail and adhering to safety procedures. On-site 4-5 days a week, 25-40 hours weekly.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Reliable commute to Jacksonville, FL and on-site work.
• Ability to operate RFID tagging and barcode scanning systems.
• Basic computer proficiency and data-entry accuracy.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions precisely.

Responsibilities

• Scan barcodes on packages using handheld or fixed scanning equipment.
• Enter, review, and validate package information within designated software systems.
• Use RFID software and printing equipment to encode and print RFID tags.
• Verify RFID tags contain correct information before application.
• Affix RFID tags and labels to designated packages.
• Maintain accurate electronic and physical records of completed work.
• Identify and report damaged packages, unreadable barcodes, tagging errors, and data discrepancies.
• Organize and move packages within assigned warehouse areas.
• Maintain a clean, safe workspace and follow safety procedures.
• Coordinate with supervisors and team to meet daily production requirements.
