Job summary

SpaceX in Irvine, CA is seeking an RFIC Design Engineer to design, simulate, and validate RF/analog/mixed-signal circuits for space and ground infrastructures. You will partner with systems, firmware, architecture, design and validation teams to advance next-generation RFICs that enable global satellite connectivity.

The role requires a BS in electrical/computer engineering or CS and 2+ years of RF IC experience, with familiarity in Spectre, ADS, HFSS or Momentum.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical, computer engineering or computer science.
• 2+ years of RF IC experience with analog/mixed-signal design.
• Experience with RFIC design, simulation and testing.

Responsibilities

• Design, simulate and model RF/analog/mixed-signal circuits and systems.
• Derive specifications for RFIC subsystems and circuits.
• Develop Analog/Mixed-Signal/RF circuits in SiGe or CMOS processes.
• Collaborate with system architects and ASIC teams to split functions.
• Perform IC floor planning and layout.
• Model package and external parasitics; evaluate prototypes.
• Characterize full radio performance and lab measurements.
• Support production testing and qualification of RFIC components.
