Amazon Kuiper Manufacturing Enterprises LLC is seeking an experienced RFIC Design Engineer to architect, simulate, and optimize transceiver front-ends for high-performance Kuiper systems. You will collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams to deliver power- and cost-efficient RFIC solutions during concept through production stages.

The role emphasizes architectural definition, layout, and extraction across data converters, LNAs, and PAs, with a focus on robust designs suitable for volume

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field is required.
5+ years of mm-Wave/RFIC design experience, preferably on advanced nodes.
Knowledge of current and upcoming RF standards (4G/5G NR, WiMAX, 802.11ad, etc.).

Responsibilities

Collaborate with systems, digital, and packaging teams to specify transceivers and RFIC front-end models.
Lead area- and power-efficient RFIC chip implementations with multiple transceiver chains.
Work with design teams to define boundary requirements for calibration, clocking, and timing.
Explore mm-wave/RF architectures and present power/area/performance trade-offs.
Design and simulate on-chip inductors, baluns, and power combiners; run cross-corner extractions.
