Job summary

Turner & Townsend is seeking an experienced Site Engineering & Design Manager to join a large-scale data center development program as an embedded member of the project team. You will manage the RFI process, coordinate multidisciplinary design activities, and track design issues and actions to support governance.

The ideal candidate has strong organizational and writing skills, plus experience supporting capital projects in mission-critical environments, and is willing to travel to remote job

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or related technical field.
• 5+ years of experience in project engineering, design management, construction administration, or technical project coordination on large capital projects.
• Experience with RFI, submittal, and design change management processes.

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain the project RFI register, ensuring RFIs are logged, categorized, and tracked.
• Draft responses for routine RFIs using contract docs, drawings, specs, and precedents; coordinate with client reps.
• Escalate RFIs involving design changes or schedule/cost impacts to the design authority.
• Coordinate design deliverables across architectural, structural, mechanical, electrical, and controls disciplines.
• Support document management and governance, including design basis docs, submittal logs, and lessons learned databases.
